2005 World of Opportunity

Puerto Rico

First Supply recently returned from Puerto Rico as part of the 2005 World of Opportunity Program. Over 400 customers, vendors and employees enjoyed seven fun-filled days exploring Puerto Rico’s culture, including tours, shopping and fine dining.

Trip 1, departing out of Minneapolis, was held from January 12 – 18 while trip 2, departing from Milwaukee, took place from January 18 – 24. The welcome party kicked off the week with ethnic cuisine, music and dancing. Highlights of the trip included a golf outing, tour of Old San Juan, catamaran tour and rainforest tour, all while leaving time for the group to relax and experience the tropical environment. First Supply guests enjoyed an exclusive daily poolside breakfast buffet featuring local flavor as well as traditional breakfast favorites.

Guests stayed at the Westin Rio Mar, a secluded, yet accessible, 500-acre beachfront resort. The Westin features 2 world-class golf courses, 12 restaurants, lounges and entertainment venues, a full-service Rio Mar Casino, endless array of water sports, and in-house Westin transportation services to exciting island off-property tours and events.

A grand farewell party was held at the rainforest the final evening. Our adventurous participants experienced a canopy ride followed by a group dinner and entertainment. First Supply extends a big ‘thank you’ to everyone involved in the 2005 WOO program. Participation of our valuable customers and vendor sponsors made our Puerto Rico trip a memorable addition to the World of Opportunity program.
