2005 World of Opportunity

Over 80 customers, vendors and employees recently returned from Ireland as part of the 2005 World of Opportunity (WOO) program. Celebrating its eighth year, the trip was held from September 26 – October 3.

The group experienced a variety of Irish sights and sounds in the Shannon and Dublin areas. Upon arrival in the Shannon area, participants were greeted with a Welcome Party featuring delicious food and traditional Irish music at Dromoland Castle. First Supply travelers spent seven days relaxing and enjoying fine dining at some of Ireland’s most famous and unique pubs. The Cliffs of Moher, Blarney Stone and Rock of Cashel were explored and guests took part in a traditional Irish ho-down at the Jameson Distillery. The week was celebrated with a farewell party at Powerscourt, including a garden reception followed by dinner in the ballroom and music provided by one of Dublin’s premier string quartets.

We would like to thank everyone, especially customers and vendor sponsors, who made the 2005 WOO trip to Ireland a great success. In January, over 450 will join us in Puerto Rico for our “Fun in the Sun” portion of the program. We look forward to seeing you there!
