2001 World of Opportunity
Ixtapa, Mexico
January 10 - 22, 2002 were fabulous fun-filled days for First Supply and
more than 400 of their customers and vendors who traveled to beautiful Ixtapa, Mexico.
Customers traveled with First Supply's World of Opportunity incentive program,
which gave them the ability to earn one-of-a-kind adventures by purchasing products
from First Supply and their participating vendors.
A nine-piece Mariachi band, and greeters in traditional Mexican costume, welcomed
the charter flights when they arrived at the Zihuatanejo airport. That evening,
guests were treated to a sumptuous buffet on the beach with live music, dancing,
and a whole ship full of pirates! Customers were guests of the lovely Krystal
Hotel that featured several restaurants and one of the hottest discos in the area.
After a brief orientation tour of the Ixtapa/Zihuatanejo area, guests had
plenty of time to shop, swim, play volleyball, relax, and any of the hundreds
of things to do in the area. Ixtapa is located on the pacific coast where the
deep-sea fishing is great. Several customers even caught ten-foot sailfish.
Guests were treated to several other wonderful evenings of great dining
and entertainment, including a private handicraft market just for First
Supply guests and an incredible fireworks display that drew the attention
of everyone in the area. Each customer was also the guest of a World of
Opportunity sponsoring vendor at one of the area's finest restaurants.
